Justin is married!

Ya Shauna, but I'm not really interested in looking at my brother's manly bodies. :) David will be there, so I will have my chip n dale.

The wedding was very nice. I'm inserting a few pics I took today.

Missing choices on survey

Hey All,
Great idea, Adrianne! Nice that you would take time out of your busy life to put something like this together.

The survey for the reunion is missing some items; off-road trails, quiet reading while some nice person in the family watches your toddler (hint, hint), hiking. You know, for those of us who don't appreciate the art of fishing, golfing or shopping. Chip N Dale's sounds intriguing, but as Lynda has pointed out years ago, the Stout men (especially Johnny) have such "manly bodies" that we don't need much more of that.

Great wedding, Trish and Regan! It was a nice way to spend the morning, albeit early :) Justin and Jessica look very much in love and happy. (I know I was not that young when I got married.) Beautiful brunch and yummy food. Hope you can take a nap tomorrow.

Have a great day,
Shauna

The Story behind the Picture (uckkee!)

HEY-who did that!! That's a picture of me, taken by Aunt Bev (I think)... because I usually never dressed up... and for what I have no idea. I guess it was pretty rare. I think I was in Jr. High... remember Irving Jr. High? Did any of you go there?

At work-- Justin's wedding reception tonight. Mandi and I will pick up Mom. Anyone want to help me plant about a million flowers this weekend? That's all I've been doing is yard work every night, but have to quit to pick up Mandi from Weber State... she's taking another CNA class... then wants to apply here at LDSH. Because of the tuition reimbursement. Still waiting for my lawyer to get the arbitration scheduled. I sure hate thinking of telling everything that happened because of the retractor. It will be very uncomfortable.... talking of it... as a means to getting a settlement. I REALLY need to buy Mandi a CAR! She takes the bus and can't get a bus pass because she's not an actual "student"... just taking a side-class or whatever! Well.. I guess that was truly interesting stuff for you to read!!
This is a great idea ADY... way to go! I can't get on my computer at home, it's still in Leo's bedroom... and I don't know when Russ will EVER have the time to re-set it up in the new computer room... which is still being remodeled and the bathroom, might get done in 10 years.

See you at the reception tonight!
Love ya all.,...
Leigh

Johnny Girl!

Here's a picture of Johnny at age 18! Thought you might like this one.... hehe
Trish

Great Idea!

(picture of the Poppleton Home. The new family has done quite a bit of renovating!)
I hope everyone will utilize this! Even the kids can be taught how to get on and talk about themselves. Helps the family stay a little closer when we don't see each other for months at a time. (does that ever happen?)

Love ya, Trish

HOLY CARP!

Last week we went fishing at Salem Pond. They boys love it. Its gorgeous there. They catch trout and carp. We don't keep anything.

On another subject. Jim and Shauna have turned over the planning of the family reunion to me for next year. I'm trying to find a place that has campsites and rooms for Mom and Holly. I would like to find a place that also has fishing and a golf course close by. I'm sure that intrigues the men. I'm also starting a new tradition, "The Stout Dutch Oven Cook" off as well. So start practicing. We will have judges from another camp and big prizes.

So...if anyone has any ideas on a great place like this let me know. I will keep reasearching and let you all in on the plans really soon.
Also, JULIA IS GRADUATING! You should have received an announcement. Don't worry about coming, it's just to let you know.
Ok, waiting to hear from you all soon and want to see lots of pics.

Hello family

I'm still trying to figure out how this all works. It will look better soon.

I sent you a link and you should be able to register as an author for this page. Then you can add your pics and comments as you like. It should be a lot of fun if we all participate. What a great way to keep the family together. I'll be waiting to see what you write :)
Welcome to the Silly Stout Blog. A great way for our family to post pictures and keep up to date on what's going on.
